I was newly pregnant with my first child and finishing a book on the experience of being pregnant. The final chapter title read "That Old Grey Mare...She Ain't What She Used To Be." I immediately burst into tears. I know from personal experience that pregnancy and new motherhood can be hard. The RIGHT gift can help mom-to-be get through the woes and celebrate the milestones, making this journey as wonderful as it should be. The problem I found is that the market is flooded with gifts that shouldn't make the cut; Too expensive and not useful...destined for the bottom of nursery closets everywhere.
